More seizures...

Henna had an MRI on Tuesday afternoon. She was given anesthesia and she came out of the MRI sleepy and very out of it. The doctor said her MRI looked good and she had separated probably 95% of the callosum.
Henna was not coming out of the anesthesia much and she quit talking. I felt she was having sub clinical seizures because her eyes were rolling every 15-10 seconds. She slept on and off throughout the night with no change. Chris had stayed with her Tues. night. Wed. a doc came by and I told him I thought Henna was having seizures. He ordered an EEG. In the meantime, physical therapy came in to try to get Henna up. She was like a noodle and kept falling over.
The EEG got hooked up in the evening and within a minute the tech was calling the doctor. Henna was seizing every 15 seconds. They gave her Atavan, which they were using in place of the Lamictal. All Henna's meds can be given intravenously except the Lamical. The Atavan did help calm the seizure activity last night so Henna slept a little.
The doctor just came by and said she is talking with a neurologist to see what they are going to do about her medication.
Henna won't be released until she is walking and talking again.
Sno jumped up on Henna's bed last night and alerted to her seizures. She layed with her for a while. This morning Sno jumped up on the bed on her own and alerted. She was happy to be next to her girl.
Please continue your prayers for Henna's speedy recovery. You've been great warriors and we are greatful beyond words.
Jan
