We met Jeremy, Training Director at 4 Paws for Ability, at the Eisai booth where we greeted people and answered questions about seizure alert dogs. Henna adores Jeremy and gets giddy talking with him. It was mighty cold this morning! 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. The sun FINALLY peeked through late morning which we welcomed with smiling faces and open arms.
We saw Mindy who was in Sno's training class last July.
Henna did great talking with everyone and letting them pet and love on Sno.
Sno was an alerting fool. She alerted on Henna all morning leaving her white sweatshirt a nice brown shade. Sno also alerted on many children and a few adults.
Jeremy's dog, Brody, and Sno loved all the attention!
Tiger Lily Henna
While we were at the event a young lady had a grand mal right in front of Henna. She was very upset. I was able to get all my "Sno" questions answered by Jeremy while we there. It's always great to see him.
4 Paws offers service dogs to veterans for free. They are placing a beautiful German Shepherd named Gabriel with a wounded warrior in June. Gabriel was going to go to another soldier but he died suddenly the day he was going to be release from Walter Reed. His rehab roommate and fellow soldier who sustained injuries in the same IED blast is going to take Gabriel. It's such a great program!
We're still waiting to hear which school Henna will go to. They are supposed t let us know by the 24th. We then will have a meeting with everyone at the school. Henna probably won't start school until May! We are leaning toward home schooling in the fall since she has done so well since she's been out of school.
We thank God for our blessings and send out prayers for those who are hurting from the Boston Marathon bombings. We must continue to remember that God is in control. He is bigger than anything!
