We picked up Grama Grey from the airport. She had flown in from Arizona. Chris and Darrell were in Mexico with my brother and his son for the week. Thanksgiving was quiet without them but the food was very good. Henna and Carter helped me bake.
Grama brought the girls some little tea cups so they had tea and banana bread.
Henna and Grama doing a puzzle.
We all sat around taking pictures and Henna plopped on my lap and we shot this one.
Crissy finally brought by the kids after 3 months. Henna was so happy to see them. Here she and Nikayla are eating grapes.
Carter stayed with us for 8 day while Mica and some friends went on vacation. Henna and Carter played well together. Not much "sisterly" fighting this time.
Yesterday Henna had a seizure so I called Leo to her. She was sitting on the couch. He barked without me prompting him! Way to go Leo!!! He then did something he has never done when she had a seizure. He jumped up on the couch and put his head on head on her lap. He wouldn't move. Henna then had another seizure. We were SO excited. He sat there for a bit and then jumped down. Henna ended up having a few more seizures while looking at shoes on the computer. Leo came when called and did bark again. Sometimes I think he knows he will get hot dogs if he barks and the barks as a result of that. The thing he did on the couch was different, however. It's really about watching Leo and learning what he does and how he senses Henna.
Leo went to school yesterday and did well. We met with transportation and they had brought a bus to school to test drive with Leo on it. He did fine. He starts riding it on Monday.
I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.
